I just attended Fox Forum which is a faculty forum for the betterment of the school. I was the first speaker on the topic of the clubs. I used the blog that I posted earlier, without the part about the tyranical school board. I couldn't insult the school board because then I would lose credibility, and it was in front of my teachers, so it would not be good to lose credibility. I did a great job, but now I will actually have expectations from everyone of my teachers next year, and they will be very difficult to reach. At least now they will look at me well, but it still scares me that I can't just goof off next year, and I actually have to work. I don't really now if them knowing me is a good thing or a bad thing, but I don't have a choice about it now.

School District 5 School Board members need to be removed.

If the restrictions that School District 5 School board wants to implement are imposed,, it will create grave consequences for them, the community, and the students that they were elected to defend, protect, and promote to the highest level they can achieve. The actions that the school board wants to implement would be a severe breach of trust in that they were elected to help these aforementioned students excel in academics and in their careers. They are trying to take away the opportunities that are needed to succed in the real world outside of school. If we are to be accepted by top tier university, we must have leadership experience, and be a "well-rounded" student. To do this, most if not all college-bound pupils (of which their goal is to have all pupils as college-bound), use school sponsored student organizations to achieve these lofty goals. These student organizations have a faculty sponsor to give the organization a sense of legitimacy, and to make sure that the club is following the goals that it assigned for itself when it was created. Without this legitimacy, the club can break the codes that it supposed to adhere to, and do things that are not legal for a student led organization to do. Without the legitimacy that is put in place when a faculty sponsor is chosen, no school club or organization would get the recognition that it deserves, and would not be looked at when put on a college application. Without these organizational experiences on their college resumes, they would be far less likely to be accepted in a competitive college acceptance atmosphere that we all strive for. This would be tangible proof that the school board is not doing the job that they were elected for, and therefore must be removed from any political office forthwith, immediately, and with no conditions that would shape a positive view on themselves, and a negative view on those that were forced by the school board's own petty actions to remove from office. We cannot, will not, and shall not let these tyranical officials use a legal cop-out to ruin our children's futures. They must be removed from office as soon as possible so as to save the future of this country from falling to a point never before seen in recorded human history. We cannot let the selfish actions go unpunished.
